Instruction Guide - Quatro Tiles

Required material and tools

Construction glue, level, pencil, saw and pneumatic nailer.

Preparation

Before you install HDF tiles on rail systems or glue them to the ceiling, you will probably need to paint the tiles to better match them with your decor. Use a "Whiz" paint roller and a water-based primer or a 2-in-1 water-based paint.

Cutting

To cut a tile, use a laminated floorboard on a bench saw with the finished side facing up. If you wish to use another type of electric saw such as a portable circular saw or a jigsaw with a fine-toothed blade, position the finished side face down. To cut the endpoint, measure and mark the perimeter to be cut; Drill a hole in each corner of the perimeter, and use a jigsaw with a fine-toothed blade to cut the endpoint.

Installation

There are two ways to install the tiles: hang or stick. They can all be hung except 48 "x 48" tiles. Hang your 24 "x 24" and 24 "x 48" tiles between "T" moldings to replace conventional panels. Just remove the panels you actually have and make sure the structure is still sturdy. If you do not have a suspended ceiling or have opted for 48 "x 48" HDF tiles, you can glue them to the ceiling with construction glue and add nails with a pneumatic nailer.

Finishing

No specific finish is necessary.

Maintenance

Wash the tiles with a clean cloth and mild soap. Avoid using a stronger soap as it may alter the finish of the paint.
